Paper Party

Organising a babyshower is definitely high up on my Love List. It's the perfect opportunity to go detail crazy, and use all the pretty ideas that would normally seem too cutesy. These paper products from London creator Milla Love would made any babyshower or birthday party that little bit more stylish.

Heirlooms of the Future

Save your children's pictures forever thanks to a fantastic idea via stay-at-home mum Andie Marie. Send Andie your little one's work of art, and she'll embroider it for posterity, creating an heirloom of the future. She'll also embroider handprints, so you can save a little bit of magic from those baby days.

Woollen Friends

Enjoy the texture and quirky nature of these super-cool woollen friends. The octopus first caught my eye, but now I love the bunny and the vegetables. Handknitted by Aracne for Kids, they start at about £10.

Eyes & Ears

I'm kicking off with a cute-fest. With a nephew called Bear, at least one of these hats was crying out to be purchased. I don't imagine there are many babies called Pig or Frog, but don't let that stop you clicking Buy! All the hats are hand-knitted by a stay-at-home mum in Michigan, and you can pick them up from her shop Knits By Knittin Mamas.

Nautical & Floral Baby Clothes

Fashions in baby clothes are much the same as for adults, so it's no surprise that this summer, stripes and florals are huge in babeland. One company that always gets it right is The White Company. Their gorgeous clothese are so cute that it's tempting to snap them up straight away. But wait! Their sales are amazing, so sign up to their newsletter, wait a few weeks, and you could save up to 50%.

King of the Castle

Admittedly, your baby is going to have to grow up a bit before they play in these gorgeous playhomes, but I couldn't resist them. Inspired by Joe, who asked his daddy for a castle, these feats of engineering come in white and brown corrugated cardboard and cost about $50. Do they come in adult sizes? I can imagine taking tea at the end of the garden outside my own giant castle. Check out Joe's Toy Box to buy.

Force Field

Okay, DIY question for you. Did you know you could buy magnetic paint? How genius is that! Considering we now lock away our fridges behind tasteful panels, magnetic paint must have come into its own. It's also the perfect way to decorate your little one's nursery. Why have one mural, when you can have a constantly evolving collage? A lovely mum-of-one from Hjrd Design has cottoned on to this long ago, and created a gorgeous range of magnets, which are designed to entertain both you and your child as they grow up. Check out a video of Hjrd Design's evolving wallscape here, and buy magnetic paint here.

Flower Power

Don't you wish you were five again? Those were the days when you could wear ruffles, polka dots and flowers all at the same time, and no one would point and stare. I first spotted these dresses for Before the Baby's sister site, Before the Big Day, but I couldn't resist posting them here as well. Perfect for party-dresses, Sweet Plume makes outfits for little girls, guaranteed to make you go aah. Brittany and Brianne handmake each outfit and are happy to take custom orders. Don't miss their Etsy shop and check our their blog for some super "sweet" discounts.
