Hand-Illustrated Nursery Pictures by StitchInk

Right now I'm trying to figure out how to turn our spare bedroom into a nursery for our son. He's due to arrive at the end of March, and I'm torn between a strong nesting instinct to get on with decorating, and indecision on styling and colours! My only occupation at the moment seems to be scanning Etsy for original illustrations for the walls. I'm determined to find something special from an independent illustrator, and I'm looking for pictures that will entertain both children and adults. I'm very conscious that whatever I choose will stay in my son's distant memory forever. So far, my favourite find is StitchInk. Owner, Jenny MacKendrick creates the most gorgeous illustrations, involving animals, Noah's Ark, bridges and the alphabet, and I love her work. Purchases coming soon! Do check out my Pinterest boards for more nursery decorating ideas.
