Funny Animal Outfits For Your Baby

I'm a sucker for a silly baby outfit, particularly when animals are involved. So I've fallen hard for the fantastic range from The Miniature Knit Shop. Their luxury baby range mixes a love of knitting and fancy dress, plus a wild and wonderful imagination. These outfits aren't just for Halloween, they're for every day street-based smiles. Go on, dress your baby with flamingo feet, and give everyone a chuckle. Buy their items online in their Etsy shop or from Not On The Highstreet.

Handprinted Baby Clothes & Accessories by OncleHope

At the moment, I'm all about the charm of the handmade and one-of-a-kind. It all started with some of the presents given to our baby boy, Ivo. Ahead of his birth, my mother-in-law knitted a cardigan and hat set, and a yellow woollen blanket. Then his great-aunt personalised a blanket for him with his name embroidered in blue. Neither are machine-perfect, and that's what makes them so enchanting and touching. These baby onesies and blankets from Oncle Hope have the same charm. They're hand-stamped on organic cotton, making each one individual and kooky. Shop owners, Helena and Bego are both mothers, and they create their designs from their studio in Barcelona in Spain. I just love their style! Prices from approximately £20 for a baby bodysuit. Don't miss their blog, Casa e Cose.

Adorable, Ethical Toys from Pebble

The first baby toy I bought for my newborn son was a rattle in the shape of a carrot! A slightly strange addition to our household, but if you'd seen it, you'd understand that I had to have it. That's how toys from Pebble make you feel. They're just as attractive to adults as children, and they're ethically impeccable - handmade by women in community businesses in Bangladesh. The charity that makes them - Hathay Bunano - aims to provide employment for mummies with their babies and children by providing employment in a village setting close to their homes.
